Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Farr (Bill) is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Atadas, Inc., a telehealth solutions company with a focus on applying technology to provide support for substance abuse disorder treatment and the opioid crisis. Mr. Farr provided the Atadas product design, initial funding and resources to deliver a novel substance abuse disorder patient engagement and compliance platform for addiction medicine.

Mr. Farr has over 25 years’ experience in a CEO role for technology companies specializing in GovTech and compliance. After a career in management consulting at Accenture, as an entrepreneur Mr. Farr successfully founded several technology companies in the government sector covering Defense, Interior / Indian Affairs, Labor and Health and Human Services.

For these startups, he provided seed funding, set strategy, designed products and led successful high-valued exits. In 2010 Mr. Farr co-authored a patent for a configurable database architecture that allows for rapid commercial, off-the-shelf software application generation. This invention led to the development of software applications which help governments and contractors reduce costs associated with managing technical data for regulatory compliance. Mr. Farr holds a degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Peter Farr, MD (Pete) is co-founder and Chief Medical Officer for Atadas, Inc. With his addiction medicine expertise, Pete provided the initial requirements and ongoing guidance for the Atadas software products to provide support for office based opioid treatment (OBOT). Dr. Farr conceptualized the need for a compliance framework to support federal and state level regulatory guideline compliance tracking for OBOT practices.

After 20+ years in Family Medicine and after evaluation of over 2000 clients, Dr. Farr founded Beacon Primary Care in December 2016 to treat people who have become dependent on opioids, now recognized as a chronic brain disease called opioid use disorder (OUD). Beacon Primary Care has a clear understanding of how opioid use disorder causes chaos in a person’s life and is committed to evidence-based treatment.

Dr. Farr has over twenty years’ experience in Family Medicine, ten years’ experience in Addiction Medicine, treating over 1400 patients in acute withdrawal. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, recertified 2015; a Diplomate of the American Board of Preventive Medicine 2018, subspecialty Addiction Medicine; Diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine 2015; a Member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine since 2010; and a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine since 2016.

Scot Penrod

Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Penrod (Scot) is the Chief Technology Officer for Atadas, Inc. Scot provided the technical design and ongoing guidance for the Atadas product platform, HIPAA compliance and HL7 interfaces. With 20+ years’ experience as chief software architect, Mr. Penrod has expert level programming knowledge in C#, Java, C/C++, XML, Web services and has led development teams for government compliance platforms in FedRAMP / NIST environments.

In 2010 Mr. Penrod co-authored a patent for a configurable database architecture that allows for rapid commercial, off-the-shelf software application generation. On this invention Scot developed product lines for Department of Defense applications (DoD), Environment Protection Agency (EPA) data exchanges and Health and Human Services (HHS). He is also a published author. Mr. Penrod holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

Corporate Development Officer

Mr. Warwaruk (Marshall) is the Corporate Development Officer for Atadas, Inc. Marshall provided market research, financial justification and ongoing guidance for Atadas products. Mr. Warwaruk has been a trusted mergers and acquisition (M&A) advisor to software executives and founders of IT services organizations for over 15 years.

Prior to working as an M&A advisor, Marshall worked as a Vice President and deal maker with the Corum Group where he specialized in helping small, privately held software and IT services companies maximize shareholder value through strategic investments, merger, acquisitions and strategic alliances.

Since 1998, he represented both buyers and sellers, guiding them through the planning and execution process of deal making. Marshall has been a speaker at numerous industry conferences and has also written and published countless articles providing valuable insights into M&A market trends, software valuations, negotiations and strategic deal making in the IT software and services industry.
