Atadas wins contract supporting Navajo Nation for Opioid Use Disorder surveillance

Nashville, Tenn., – July 24, 2023 – Atadas announces the award of a multi-year contract to support the Navajo Nation (NN) Department of Health, Division of Behavioral and Mental Health Services (DBMHS) tribal opioid response (TOR) program. NN selected the Atadas patented AddMedPro® platform as their core system for disease surveillance and support of medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder (OUD). Atadas is teamed with HN4 Solutions LLC., a management consulting firm on Navajo Nation, providing consulting and technology solutions to tribal nations.

The efforts of this collaboration are intended to increase the capacity of DBMHS to effectively and efficiently collect data and implement surveillance on opioid related activities as well as to support expanded access to care for the 100,000+ tribal members supported under the TOR program. The Atadas system will help reach OUD providers and patients across three states in a hub a spoke model to support of the Navajo Nation’s activities to address prevention, treatment, and recovery of opioid use disorder.
